The scariest thing:
Getting woken by a monster truck driving in circles between my kayak and tent.
The hardest thing:
My second day I was blinded by the glare, even with sunglasses and a
hat. I then constructed side blinders for my glasses and also had a
bandana under the hat. In hindsight, the main cause of the pain could
have been sunblock sweat dripping into my eyes.
